SkyWatch Friday, Zion

Early April in Zion National Park, Utah
Clear, blue desert skies.
Sunny days and blustery, cold nights in Zion Canyon.
Abundant waterfalls and a muddy, brown Virgin River.

Waterfall at Lower Emerald Pool

A deep blue sky above a waterfall.
Sky, rock, water...
Virgin River, Zion, Utah.

Late afternoon sky.

Hi i am new here followed from SF. That is an amazing capture of the water which seems to not have reached the bottom. I can imagine it takes a long time to be at that place taking that shot and to another angle when you are on top of it! Very beautiful.

Great shot! I, too, was at Zion in early April but I don't think I have anything to match your shot at emerald pools. I have yet to sort through my shots, though.

These are gorgeous shots, Keith. You've inspired me to go back and look through my Zion photos. It's such a great place and it's been so long since I've been there, that I truly appreciate your posting these.

Thanks!
