Skywatch Friday

Tilden Park, Berkeley, California
November 28, 2009
I thought it was about time that I actually post some pictures from an actual hike on Hikepix...
On the Saturday after Thanksgiving we went to Tilden Park on a family outing. It was a glorious, windy day. The skies were deep blue, not a cloud in the sky. The views were crystal clear. We visited the "Little Farm", went on a hike up to the top of Wildcat Peak, and took a ride on the steam train. It was a wonderful, relaxing, enjoyable day!

Skywatch Friday, dark skies

Last Friday we finally had a little weather in San Ramon. The skies got darker and darker and then we had a little rain. A welcome change from the routine, cloudless blue skies of Autumn...
