SkyWatch Friday

September 22, 2011
Hayward, CA

Hayward City Hall
This is the "old" City Hall.
I love the architechtural details and the Art Deco script.
The new City Hall is located in a "modern" skyscraper built when I was a teenager.
Once again not a cloud in sight....
This is our California sky on the first full day of Fall.
It was 85 degrees in Hayward....

The city hall looks like a grand structure, thrusting itself into the sky!

SKY LOVE

Sky above, sky aglow,
Sky of rain and sky of snow;
Sky of hail, sky of sleet,
Sky cavorting o’er the street;
Sky of black, sky of blue,
In all seasons I love you!

That is a grand old building and a lovely sky. We're supposed to be in the 80s here in Southeast Colorado this weekend too.

Great sky shot. I like the vantage point of the building. 85 degrees on the first day of Fall! Incredible. Happy Sky Watch!

Old buildings always look SO cool against a blue sky! It's the same downunder in OZ!
