Lovely shots. We certainly enjoyed our recent trip to California--everything was so green after our desert scenery, especially with the drought we've been having.
In the first shot, the clouds appear to be peeping over the hill. Are they a scouting party for an army of clouds to follow?
RED SKY IN MORNING
Red sky in morning,
Sailors take warning!
Who knows what might happen out on the sea?

The clouds were actually slowly burning off.... I have more pictures from this hike where the clouds are dark and ominous, but they were harmless, no rain....
