Forest Home Farms

I recently had the pleasure of chaperoning my son's 3rd grade class on a field trip to our local historical farm, Forest Home Farms. The children were very interested in what the docents had to say, so I was able to take a few photos.

The farm had a walnut processing plant.
There are lots of wonderful historical items on display.

The old barn was originally built before the Civil War.

The David Glass house is right next to the farm. This 1877 mansion was moved here from it's original location nearby. I would love to find out where that was...
The restoration of the exterior was completed this summer.
A Rainy day at the David Glass House.
